The Education Hotel runs mock tests in conjunction with a mock test provider, below is the information about their Mock Tests
Our Mock Tests are a mix of multiple-choice and standard format papers in English and Maths for Grammar Schools.
We also arrange Mocks for those targeting the Independent Schools for 10+ and 11+ from October to December.
Each Mock Test comprises of one hour-long English and Maths papers.
Unlike other providers, we use professional teachers to mark the completed papers very carefully and thoroughly.
The marked papers will be returned within a week, along with a detailed analysis and feedback.
Evaluated writing tasks are returned with comprehensive feedback. Constructive feedback is given to help your child improve. An exam report along with a ranking will also be provided.
What is unique about these Mock Tests?
They are not JUST multiple-choice.
To gain admission to Wilson’s Sutton Grammar, Wallington Girls, Non Such, St Olaves, Tiffins and all local independent schools, your child needs to pass a written English and Maths Paper at the Second Stage. All other mock tests providers mainly only provide multiple-choice papers. We provide both formats.
Standard formats are marked by qualified teachers.
The Question and answer papers are not withheld. Unlike other providers, we will return marked papers to you.
Most other mock providers that conduct an English writing task exam return the task with your child without any feedback. Our writing paper will be fully evaluated with detailed feedback on how your child can improve.
