What Does The Education Hotel Offer our Tutors?

At The Education Hotel we offer 1:1 tuition, courses and resources to students aged 6-18. We cover all academic subjects and our office team have a background in education, so that they can support our tutors.

Regular Training Videos

Training can range from how to use relevant technology to instructional videos on tackling specific syllabuses. Many our training videos are free and are included upon signing up as a tutor.

Fair Pay

Sometimes private tuition can be a ‘race to the bottom’, however, The Education Hotel strives to command fair fees for our tutors. We listen to the needs of our tutors and select tutors on their abilities not prices.

Set Your Own Hours

Tutors working with The Education Hotel are free to set their own working hours. This allows many of our tutors are able to fit their tuition around existing jobs and commitments.

The Education Hotel offers premium-quality tutoring with tutors from the highest academic backgrounds. However, it’s not all about your degree, many of our tutors have extensive teaching experience and testimonials from previous students. We consider tutors who are recently leaving the classroom and those who do not hold a teaching degree, but have plenty of experience. To ensure that our services continue to be rated as outstanding by our clients, our staff work tirelessly to ensure that our tutors are the best there are.

So what’s needed? Tutors must:

  1. Have a specialism in an academic subject.
  2. Have a degree.
  3. Have teaching or tutoring experience.
  4. Be based in the UK.
  5. Have or be willing to get a DBS check that is no older than 1 year.
  6. Sign up to the government’s ‘Update Service’.
  7. Be competent using online teaching technology.
  8. Be willing to work evenings and weekends.
*All tutors are self-employed and are therefore responsible for their own tax
