This course is for children in Year 5 (ages 9-10) only.
11/8 till 29/8, 9am till 11am – Three week long course.
Week 1: Mon-Sat.
Week 2: Mon-Sat.
Week 3 Mon-Fri.
11+ English & Maths Boot Camp.
3 weeks of intensive 11+ study covering 12 math and 12 english topics, 3 mock papers and feedback, PLUS 2 exam technique sessions.
Students spend Monday to Thursday recapping and practicing the trickiest of topics from Math and English including Comprehension inference, phrases in grammar, algebra and graph reading. Then on Friday students are tested on their knowledge with 2 unique mock papers, designed to test the knowledge that they have learned that week.
Students results are fed back to them via email – along with the highest and lowest mock exam results of the class, and students are given a recording of our tutors taking the paper so that they can see where they can make improvements to their method.
On the first and second Saturday of the course students of the 3 week bootcamp are also invited to join our exam technique workshops for FREE. These workshops cover mindset, how to read a text in a few minutes, what checking can involve and what to do if you get in a panic. This is a BONUS exclusively for the bootcamp students
This bootcamp is designed for students who have covered all of the topics for the 11+ and who are wanting to stretch and challenge themselves over the Summer, in preparation of the 11+. this makes it ideal for students taking the 11+ exam for school such as Henrietta barnet, QE, Tiffins and City of London
