REVIEWS

I’ve worked with 100s of 11+ students over the last 10 years…
My name is Jemma Z. Smith and I am the founder of The Education Hotel. My focus as a tutor is getting students into the top grammar and independent schools.
I work with students who: are the first in their families to take the 11+, who are studying at prep schools, who are coming from overseas, whose siblings are already studying at their ideal school, who are home-schooled, and more.
Every family has the same aim – to prepare their child effectively for their target school in a stress-free way.
The problem is that families do not know how to help their child to achieve their dream. These families come to me with piles of revision books, workbooks, past papers and flashcards, having spoken to many parents at the school gates, searched all of the 11+ forums and asked questions on Facebook and Telegram.
But their child was not succeeding.
They needed a programme to help them succeed.
Over the last 10 years, this programme has been the blueprint that I have followed for EVERY CHILD.
Regardless of your background, as long as your child has the drive and determination to succeed, they will be able to progress with this programme. You will see their confidence and knowledge increase week after week.
We start from the basics and build to give a child confidence and a challenge.
We work not just with the child, but also with the parents to ensure parents can support their child at home, just as we do in our lessons. We support parents every step of the way to help them understand this complex process and to help them support and challenge their child.
Together our students succeed at 11+

I have been enabling students to achieve their full potential for 13 years now. Being a year young at school, I gained entrance to Cambridge University at age 16 where I took Part 1 French and Spanish at Queens’ College. I then decided to do my Part 2 in English Literature, choosing papers in Shakespeare, Tragedy and American Literature. I feel I thus definitely made the most of my time at Cambridge and, as a result, am able to offer tuition in a range of disciplines.
