Founded by a three-time University of Oxford graduate, and with academic rigour and achievement at the core of everything we do, The Education Hotel has been privileged to support the growth and development of students worldwide since 2019.

Our team of head office staff (all with education backgrounds) and network of tutors are dedicated to providing exceptional educational support for students aged 6 to 18. We offer a diverse range of services including personalised one-on-one tuition, engaging group classes, intensive holiday courses, and on-demand recordings.

Our Tutors
Our exemplary private tutors come from the highest academic backgrounds, specialising in a full array of subjects at all levels. Prospective tutors are carefully screened, DBS-checked and interviewed by our Director before becoming a tutor.

We have access to a broad network of tutors, allowing us to meet a huge range of student academic needs. Our agent partners find this depth of resource especially valuable, as it is not always possible for partners to find the right fit for a student or subject within their own networks.

How to join?
- Step 1: book a call with our Partnerships Manager. On this we’ll talk about your different clients and the kind of services they might require

The Education Hotel works with around 40 referral partners, many of whom are individual tutors themselves. The Education Hotel offers individual tutors a referral payment made each time that their referred client takes a lesson. This is ideal for many tutors who only offer a limited number of subjects or who are simply too busy to take on any other clients.

Meet the Team
Director – Jemma Zoe Smith
Jemma Z. Smith is an accomplished educator and the founder of The Education Hotel. A graduate of Oriel College, Oxford University, Jemma earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biochemistry in 2013. During her studies, she actively collaborated with Oxford’s University Access Team, where she supported students from non-traditional backgrounds in their pursuit of higher education at Oxford University. In 2017, she returned to Oxford to complete her training as a UK educator and work in the UK school system.
Jemma possesses a wealth of knowledge within the education sector, having previously managed a residential tuition centre in the UK as well as providing tutoring services to families in diverse locations including Dubai, San Francisco, Turkey, the Czech Republic, the Bahamas, Hawaii, and Kenya. Her dedication to student success is evident, having supported over 200 students in their acceptance to some of the UK’s most prestigious schools and universities, such as Oxford, Cambridge, University College London, Imperial College, Eton, Harrow, Winchester, Wycombe Abbey, and Cheltenham Ladies’ College.
In her ongoing commitment to education, Jemma continues to engage in tutoring, working with gifted students both online and in person. She is frequently invited to share her insights at conferences and educational institutions in the UK and around the globe, further demonstrating her passion for fostering academic excellence.
